Mexico has many international airports to choose from depending on where you would like to visit on your holidday to Mexico. Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport (AICM), Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), Cancun International Airport (CUN), Acapulco (ACA), Acuna (ACN) and La Paz (LAP) all receive international flights.

Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport (AICM) is situated not far from Mexico City. It is the largest and busiest airport in Latin America, with direct flights to more than 100 destinations around the world. In 2005 it was decided to build a new terminal 2 on the other side of the airport, and a whole new terminal was build in less than two years. Terminal two increased the airports contact position by 40%, and the operational capacitu by 15%. Metro trains and regular buses run to the city, while major hotels operate their own shuttle services.

Located on Mexico’s west coast, Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is served by many major airlines and countless charter companies for people who wish to access the popular beach resorts along the beautiful coast. There is a single terminal building for all domestic and international flights. The airport is situated just a few miles from downtown Puerto Vallarta and shuttle buses and taxis run to the city throughout the day.

One of Mexico’s busiest airports is Cancun International Airport (CUN), which operates direct flights from destinations such as Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York as well as services from London with British Airways. Located on the northeastern tip of the Yucatan peninsular, Cancun Airport is a well-equipped facility with two terminals. Public shuttles run to Cancun, while some hotels also provide their own shuttle service.
