Florida Accomodation

Florida offers many accomodation opportunities. You can stay at a hotel or rent a holiday apartment or villa, if you prefer a self-catering holiday.

Florida is surely one of the most popular destinations for travelers to head to within the U.S., a status its associations with Walt Disney has no doubt helped to cement.

Renting a
holiday villa in Florida is a superb way to experience the delights this state has to offer from a base location. Florida holiday villas are a luxury themselves and you and your family or friends will be able to enjoy the warm Florida weather while relaxing outside the villa, since many villas come complete with outdoor areas such as swimming pools or terraces. Villas often end up cheaper than hotel rooms if there`s a large group of you sharing and you`ll find the amenities you expect from hotels will typically be found in your villa too.

If you're considering Florida because you want to visit Disneyland, then you`ll find that many villas in
Orlando will be near to Disneyland itself - these will give you access to the park, but don`t forget there`s more to enjoy in the Orlando area. Just 15 minutes’ drive away from Disneyland for example is the Champion`s Gate golf course. Set in a scenic environment incorporating wetlands and woodland, this club features two separate courses that together offer 36 holes of golf.

Another well-known part of this state is the
Florida Keys. Made up of around 1,600 islands, the Florida Keys is well-established as a destination for holidaymakers and boasts excellent weather. Tourists are particularly attracted to the Florida Keys for a chance to see a variety of marine life from one of the area`s tranquil white-sanded beaches. You can participate in a wide selection of sports here too, including angling and scuba diving to name but two.

Renting a holiday villa in the Naples area provides you with access to beautiful beaches and an opportunity to explore unspoiled nature. Areas such as the Everglades and the Gulf of Mexico beach will be on the itineraries of many visitors to the region and a holiday villa that's positioned near to Naples City is an ideal place to launch expeditions from. In the Gulf of Mexico, Marco Island offers beaches, relaxation and the sight of returning fishing vessels, as well as the peaceful Isle of Capri. Meanwhile, in Naples City itself you`ll be able to indulge in shopping and dining out, or else hop on a tour to a location such as Corkscrew Swamp.

Alternatively, renting a private villa in Florida in the Panhandle region gives visitors a glimpse into a different vision of the state of Florida. This area is situated in the northwest and features thriving woodland, made up predominantly of oaks and pine trees. A prime area to stay or visit is the Beaches of South Walton. Here you`ll find modern developments in a seaside setting. Other attractions in Panhandle include the cities of Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola, the latter of which will interest history buffs with its landmarks and exhibitions.

If you prefer to stay at a hotel, there are plenty of options to choose from in Florida, especially in Orlando area near Disney World, there are many family hotels which features activities aimed at children at all ages. Some of these hotels are located within Disney World itself from where there is easy access to the various theme parks. Cheaper options can be found at a little further distance from Disney World.

Everywhere in Florida you will find hotels at all price levels to suite your budget. Be aware that in the USA there is no official classification system for hotels, this is generally left to automobile or petrochemical related interests like The American Automobile Association (AAA) and the petrochemical company Mobil. They use different classification systems; AAA uses a Diamond rating system and Mobile a star rating system. Furthermore travel agencies have their own ratings of hotels; again the system is different form one agency to the other. The different rating systems will of course give a good indication of the classification of the hotel you are considering to book. Before you make your booking, it is advisable always to visit the hotels own website to read more about the hotel, the services provided and facilities available.
